We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how IOT-Elearning (the “App”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our eLearning application on devices.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number (only if you create an account or contact support).
- Learning Data: Course progress, completed lessons, quiz scores, watch history, study time, certificates, etc.
- Device Information: Smart TV model, Android TV/Google TV version, IP address, Android Advertising ID (AAID), device language, and unique device identifiers.
- Usage Data: Frequency of app usage, features accessed, video playback duration, crash logs, and analytics data.
2. How We Use Your Information
The collected information is used to:
- Provide and personalize your learning experience.
- Send notifications about new courses or app updates (only with your permission).
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the App and educational content.
- Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing Information with Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Information may be shared only in the following cases:
- With trusted service providers who assist us in operating the App (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics tools such as Firebase, Google Analytics for Firebase).
- When required by law or to protect our legal rights.
4. Advertising and Android Advertising ID
Our App currently does not display third-party advertisements. However, we may use the Android Advertising ID (AAID) for:
- Analytics and performance measurement.
- Personalizing course recommendations (non-commercial).
You can reset or opt out of personalized ads at any time via your TV settings: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset advertising ID or turn off “Personalized ads”.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures (including SSL/TLS encryption and secure cloud storage) to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
